Retush is a photo editor for iPhone. This policy explains what information Retush and retush.app collect, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email [email protected].

Your photos stay on your iPhone

Every edit, including the AI tools, runs on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else to edit them, and we can't see them. Edits you save in the app are stored on your phone only.

What we collect

• Beta sign-ups. When you join the beta on retush.app we store your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, and whether your TestFlight invite was sent.
• Accounts. An account is optional; the editor works without one. If you create one we store your email address, your name if you choose to share it through Sign in with Apple, an identifier from Apple if you use Sign in with Apple, and your sign-in sessions (including the IP address and device type they came from, to keep your account secure).
• Pro status. Whether your account has Pro and why (beta tester, granted by us, or a subscription), and for subscriptions the transaction details Apple sends us. Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your card details.

We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and we don't sell or share your data for marketing.

Who else handles it

• Apple, to send your TestFlight invite (we give Apple the email you confirmed), to sign you in with Sign in with Apple and to process subscriptions.
• Resend, which sends our emails (confirmation links and sign-in codes).
• Our hosting provider, whose servers run retush.app and store the database.

Cookies

retush.app only uses a cookie to keep you signed in when you sign in on the site. There are no tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account is kept until you delete it. You can delete it at any time from the account screen in the app, which removes your account, sign-in details and Pro status from our database and revokes Sign in with Apple. To be removed from the beta list, email us and we'll delete your sign-up; you can leave TestFlight from the TestFlight app.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date above, and tell account holders by email if the change is significant.
